Read a good book. Come across an inspiring blog post like this one. Waking to sunshine makes me automatically know it's going to be a great day. Consequently, I feel I function at a higher level. More productive. Healthier actions. More meaningful interactions. I don't do it often enough but I try to set an alarm at am and take a minute or two to appreciate the day before I get up.
