This is a beautiful copy with bold gilt lettering, clean, unmarked text. A couple of tiny spots on the fore-edge, a minor liftoff on the rear panel, a lightly bumped corner, otherwise a near fine copy. In Tales of the Angler's Eldorado, Grey fishes both these now legendary streams as well as pursues the monster swordfish off the coast of the New Zealand shores.

A light splash on the fore edges, a tiny, almost invisible snag on the lower center spine and very light rubbing at the spine tips, else a fine, clean copy in a very good dust jacket which has a one-inch triangular chip at the upper edge of the front panel, a light crease at the center spine and light creasing to the tips and corners.

Zane Grey was born in Zanesville, Ohio in He attended the University of Pennsylvania on a baseball scholarship where he became a dentist. However, his heart was not in dentistry, it was in writing. In he married Lina Roth. They had three children, and eventually moved to California where Zane could both experience the West and write about it.
He was one of America's most prolific authors, writing almost 90 books.
